The development provides a 3.0m shared foot cycle way along its frontage which links the site to the surrounding area. There are advisory, traffic-free and National Cycle Network routes which provide access in all directions from Blyth in the north, Seaton Sluice in the east, Whitley Bay, Killingworth and Shiremoor in the south.
